The beneficial Effects of Eriobotrya Japonica Lindl. Leaves Extract on Body Weight, Glycemic Control, and Lipid Profile
The findings demonstrate that E. japonica leaf extract at doses of ≥200 mg/kg significantly reduces body weight and improves lipid markers in HFD-fed rats. However, glycemic markers such as blood glucose and HbA1c were not significantly affected. These results highlight the potential of E. japonica as a natural weight loss and lipid control aid, warranting further investigation into its mechanisms and clinical applicability.
