Forming the socio-cultural identity of future pedagogical workers in the historical regions of the Russian Federation taking into account traditional Russian spiritual and moral values

This research aims to identify the significance of forming the socio-cultural identity of an individual in maintaining the correct value orientations of future pedagogical workers in the historical regions of the Russian Federation. The article analyzes scientific research on the significance of the continuity of traditional Russian spiritual and moral values in the educational system through the mechanisms of socio-cultural identity. The scientific novelty of the research lies in substantiating the importance of using elements and mechanisms for forming socio-cultural identity in the training system for future pedagogical workers in the historical regions of the Russian Federation. As a result, the term "socio-cultural identity", its structure and components, have been analyzed, scientific aspects of supporting traditional Russian spiritual and moral values through the mechanisms of socio-cultural identity have been studied, and the importance of considering regional aspects in the self-determination of the personality of future pedagogical workers has been articulated.
