Plasma treatment enhanced optical sensing capability of organic field effect transistors
Plasma is now widely used to regulate the performance of sensing devices within the architecture of organic field-effect transistors (OFETs). However, the effect of plasma treatment on the optical response of OFETs has rarely been studied. Here, we use an air stable semiconductor DPP-DTT as the active layer to analyze the light-dark current response of the devices with and without plasma treatment. Our results indicate that the photosensitivity of the device can be enhanced by plasma treatment, which provides a simple post-processing strategy for the optimization of photoresponsivity of OFETs.
