Capacidad de carga para las zonas estratégicas de turismo en San Juanito, Meta, Colombia
Community tourism inserted in Protected Areas is an alternative for sustainable productive reconversion; which requires carrying out an analysis to maintain the ecological integrity of the area to be intervened and conserve it. The municipality of San Juanito, immersed in the Chingaza National Natural Park, emerges as a tourist destination due to its strategic ubiquity; which requires determining a parameter that establishes theimpact of anthropic activity; giving space to the carrying capacity as a determinant of exploration of effects caused in sensitive areas, allowing to establish the sufficiency of strategic tourist points for their adequate use. The measurement proposed by Cifuentes was used, which states: physical, real and effective carrying capacity, adding the use of the NTS AVO15-12 standard, according to orographic characteristics. The results demand an adequate management plan for the use of the area, given its sensitivity, making it possible for the community to take advantage of it.
