Optimisation of Energy Management System for Stadiums based on Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence
With the rapid development of intelligent sports venues, energy management has become an important issue to improve the operational efficiency of venues and reduce energy costs. This paper discusses the optimisation of stadium energy management system based on Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence, combines the literature analysis method and case study method, constructs the system architecture with the core of perception layer, transmission layer, data processing layer and application layer, and elaborates on the design and implementation strategies of the functional modules such as data collection, energy consumption prediction, optimal control and fault detection. The study shows that the system significantly improves energy efficiency and reduces operating costs through dynamic energy allocation, real-time data monitoring and intelligent decision support. In the case studies, successful practices such as Allianz Arena in Munich and Singapore National Stadium further validate the value of IoT and AI technologies in energy management. The paper concludes with an outlook on future research directions, suggesting that technology integration should be deepened and new solutions such as digital twins and renewable energy scheduling should be developed to further help stadiums realise their sustainable development goals.
