Research on Sensorless Starting of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Based on Vibration Signal
In the rotor position estimation of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM), the traditional method, such as the high-frequency signal injection method for zero-speed on-load starting, has poor adaptability to the motor with different salient pole characteristics in some scenarios, to solve these problems, a rotor position estimation approach according to feature extraction of vibration signal is studied in this paper. The electromagnetic vibration in the motor is excited by imposing a high-frequency voltage at zero or low speed. The characteristic frequencies were extracted by analyzing the vibration signals, and least squares removed the non-linear trend terms in the signals to eliminate the interference, the validity of the rotor position estimation based on the vibration signal characteristics was verified, and the rotor position was accurately estimated.
