Research on Building Energy System Management System Based on New Power System under Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality Goals

Architecture is the key field to realize the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals, and it is also an important application scenario for the construction of new power system. This paper comprehensively examines the scientific management logic of building energy systems from the perspective of the impacts of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals and the construction of the new electricity system, providing practical approaches to promote the green and low-carbon transformation of buildings and expedite the realization of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality objectives. First, this study begins by exploring the role of the building sector in achieving "dual carbon" goals and developing the new electricity system, clarifying the development trends of building energy systems. Second, based on management systems and life cycle theories, a management framework for building energy systems under the "dual carbon" goals and the new electricity system is constructed. Finally, key management points for building energy systems in the context of these goals and the New electricity system are analyzed in detail based on this management framework. The research findings indicate that the deep integration of buildings and energy systems is an inevitable trend in the development of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals and the new electricity system. Under these goals, building energy systems based on the new electricity system will exhibit trends toward low-carbon or zero-carbon, flexibility, digitization or intelligence, and integration or platformization. Consequently, the management of building energy systems should emphasize collaborative efforts in three aspects: building itself, functional roles, and supporting elements.
