An Optimal Network Reconfiguration Approach in Smart Distribution Networks under Overhead Line and Wireless Communication Faults
In this paper, an optimal topology reconfiguration method is proposed for smart elastic distribution networks to address overhead line faults and wireless communication faults. Firstly, a general hierarchical control framework for distribution networks is introduced. Secondly, the combined impact of both faults is investigated. Considering that the common power line carrier channel integrates the power transmission line and the data transmission channel, an optimal distribution network reconfiguration method is designed in this paper to mitigate the impact of faults. The proposed method considers two key metrics: network cost and convergence speed. The optimization problem is a mixed integer semifinite programming (MISDP) problem. Finally, time-domain simulations are performed in Matlab/Simulink to verify the effectiveness of the designed algorithm.
