Capacity Enhancement Method for Distribution Network Considering Multi-Power Charging Pile Planning
With the rapid increase in the number of electric vehicles (EVs), the carrying capacity of distribution networks is facing immense pressure. This paper proposes a method for enhancing the carrying capacity of distribution networks based on multi-power charging pile planning. First, an electric vehicle charging load model is constructed, and a set of assessment indicators for the carrying capacity of the distribution network is designed, encompassing multiple dimensions such as safety, stability, and quality, to ensure the comprehensiveness and scientific validity of the evaluation. Based on these assessment indicators, a multi-objective enhancement model is proposed, which takes into account both economic factors and carrying capacity. This model aims to optimize the layout and capacity of charging piles, thereby improving the overall carrying capacity of the distribution network while ensuring the safety and stability of the system. In the comparative analysis of three different schemes, the results indicate that the proposed method effectively balances economic efficiency with the safety and stability of the distribution network, significantly enhancing its capacity to accommodate EVs.
