Simulation of Airflow Field for 252kV Eco-Gas GIS Fast Earthing Switch
Research on the gas insulated switchgear (GIS) is widely used in the power industry. Although SF<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">6</inf> as its gas insulation medium has good insulation and arc extinguishing performance, SF<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">6</inf> is a strong greenhouse gas. Under the background of "double carbon", the research on environmental friendly C<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">4</inf>F<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">7</inf>N mixed gas and its feasibility in switchgear is one of the hot spots in the field of electrical engineering in recent years. In this paper, the physical parameters of C<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">4</inf>F<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">7</inf>N/CO<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf> mixed gas are calculated. Aiming at the opening process of 252kV GIS fast earthing switch, a two-dimensional dynamic calculation model of 252kV GIS fast earthing switch is established based on the fluid dynamics theory. The arc simulation of the model is carried out by using the finite element method, and the changes of gas pressure, temperature and density in the gas chamber of the fast earthing switch are calculated and obtained. The influence of cylinder diameter and C<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">4</inf>F<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">7</inf>N/CO<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf> mixture with different mixing ratio on the arcing characteristics of fast earthing switch is studied and analyzed. The results show that increasing the cylinder diameter can effectively reduce the arc channel temperature, enhance the air blowing effect, and increase the density recovery speed after arc quenching, which is more conducive to arc quenching; Increasing the proportion of C<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">4</inf>F<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">7</inf>N gas mixture can more effectively reduce the arcing temperature and reduce the ablation of contacts by high temperature, but there is still a gap between C<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">4</inf>F<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">7</inf>N gas mixture and SF<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">6</inf> gas in arcing. The calculation results can lay a theoretical foundation for the research of C<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">4</inf>F<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">7</inf>N mixed gas mixture in arc extinction.
