Fault line selection of distribution networks based on sparse coefficient Hamming distance
The small current grounding systems have weak ground fault characteristics when a high-impedance grounding fault occurs, making fault line selection a challenging task. To address this problem, a fault line selection method based on the combination of sparse representation and Hamming distance algorithm is proposed. The zero-sequence current of each feeder is decomposed using the sparse representation theory to obtain the sparse coefficient vector of zero-sequence current, the comparison reveals that the sparsity coefficient of the fault line is greater than that of the non-fault line. Then, using the Hamming distance algorithm, calculate the distance of sparse coefficients between the fault line and the non-fault line, and using the Hamming distance correlation coefficient to established a line selection criterion. Through MATLAB simulation, it was verified that the method of this paper is not affected by transition resistance, noise interference, fault location and has a high sensitivity.
