Measurement and Application of Radio Altimeter Based on FMCW
Frequency modulate continuous wave (FMCW) technology has become one of the key technologies in the field of intelligent driving technology because of its high precision, fast response, simple structure, low transmitting power and excellent anti-jamming performance. This paper presents an FMCW ranging device based on ADI software radio platform. For distance measurement. The radar supports transceiver bands from 70 MHz to 6.0 GHz. Applicable to various scenarios. The ADI software radio platform drives the Zedboard development board to configure the AD9361, which improves the overall development efficiency. In order to further deepen our understanding, we use its related software to conduct simulation studies. In addition, the project also uses high-gain transmitting and receiving antennas, which are fixed by 3D printed structural parts to complete the overall function of the system. The FMCW basic ranging system is constructed for the measurement and analysis of experimental data. The overall development efficiency of FMCW system has been improved in order to conduct research and analysis more effectively.
