Optimal Capacity Configuration of High-Pressure Gas Storage Tanks for Cascade Utilization of Liquefied Natural Gas Cold Energy
To utilize the large amount of cold energy released during the gasification of liquefied natural gas (LNG) more efficiently and flexibly, an optimal capacity configuration model of high-pressure gas storage tanks is proposed, which aims to improve economic benefits and energy utilization efficiency. Firstly, a cascade utilization model of LNG cold energy for electricity generation and refrigeration storage is established which considers the coupling relationship between different utilization stages. On this basis, the capacity configuration and operation model of the high-pressure gas storage tank model is developed, which is in turn integrated into the energy management of a multi-energy microgrid (MEMG) system. Through the simulation and comparison analysis, the results show that with the optimized capacity of the high-pressure gas storage tanks, the total operating cost of MEMG can be reduced and the energy utilization efficiency can be improved.
