Multiple Optimization Method Based on Comprehensive Adjustment Coefficient for Axial Partition Bridge Arm Reactor

With the development of new power systems, low-carbon and high-quality development in China, the proportion of new energy sources such as wind power and photovoltaics is increasing, and flexible DC transmission technology has been widely used in new energy grid-connected, long-distance power transmission and other scenarios because of its advantages of asynchronous interconnection of AC power grids, strong control flexibility and expansibility. The bridge arm reactor is an important equipment in flexible DC transmission project, which runs for a long time in AC and DC amplitude are quite large combined high current conditions, and the temperature caused by the abnormal temperature rise sometimes occurs, which endangers the reactor life and the operation safety of the power grid. The new axial partition bridge arm reactor structure, especially when the split ratio is 45%, can effectively solve the local overheating problem of bridge arm reactors during operation. Further optimization research on axial partition bridge arm reactors can provide a theoretical basis for the design, manufacture, operation and maintenance of large reactors. A multi-optimization method based on the comprehensive adjustment coefficient is proposed. Three comprehensive adjustment coefficients k<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">a</inf>, k<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">b</inf> and k<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">c</inf> are set to adjust the proportion of the constant resistance voltage, constant temperature rise and constant current density of the optimization target. The compromise of three optimization strategies is realized. Comparing the temperature field of the traditional structure of the bridge arm reactor, the axial partition structure and the axial partition optimization structure, the axial partition optimization structure effectively reduces the heating capacity of the encapsulation and makes the temperature distribution of the encapsulation more balanced. It also has good temperature rise stability when the transmission power changes. This research not only helps to improve the performance and stability of the bridge arm reactor, but also provides theoretical support for the further development and application of flexible DC transmission technology.
