Adaptive Control Method of Grid-Forming SVG under Non-Ideal Power Grid Condition

The parameter design of the current inner-loop proportional-integral (PI) controller is difficult to take into account the stability margin and control performance of the grid-forming static VAR generator (SVG). Meanwhile, due to the high proportion of power electronic devices connected to the grid, DC components and harmonic disturbances are introduced in the grid. In order to address the above problems, the grid-forming SVG adaptive control method and system is proposed. Firstly, the new PR controller based on generalized integration and specific harmonic compensation is designed and used to construct the current control inner loop of the grid-forming SVG. Then, the bidirectional long short-term memory (BDLSTM) network is used to construct the functional mapping relationship between the overshoot and response time of the current inner loop control with respect to the short-circuit ratio and the internal parameters of the controller. Finally, taking the stability margin, overshoot and response time of the current inner loop control as the optimization objectives, the adaptive new proportional resonance (PR) controller parameter solution method that can adapt to changes in the short-circuit ratio is constructed. The variable weighted crossover particle swarm algorithm is used to generate the optimized new PR controller parameters. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified through the CloudPSS simulation platform.
