Robust Control of WPT System With Selected Weighting Function Considering Parameter Perturbations
H<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">∞</inf> controller is used to improve the performance of inductive power transfer (IPT) system. However, the H<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">∞</inf> design considers nominal plant while designing the controller, so the desired performance may not be guaranteed. To improve the IPT dynamic performance, in this paper a µ-controller is designed. Generalized state-space model is used to get the IPT system transfer function and its effect due to perturbation. Uncertain model is developed using multiplicative uncertainty and then used in µ-controller design. Performance of IPT is simulated both with "µ" and "H<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">∞</inf>" controller and then compared.
