Transient Stability Analysis between Grid-connected Inverter and Energy Storage Converter Within Offshore Wind Power Collection Station
The offshore wind power collection station equipped with energy storage converters is a crucial measure to address the random fluctuations in offshore wind power grid connection. This paper focuses on the scenario where excess offshore wind generation results in stored energy in the energy storage system. It provides a detailed derivation of the power angle characteristic curves and the critical fault clearing time between the grid-forming converters used for offshore wind power grid connection and those used for energy storage systems. On this basis, the factors affecting the transient stability of the offshore wind power collection station are analyzed, and simulation verification is conducted in a tested system.
