Study on the Impact of Carbon Emission Right Trading on Energy and Electricity Trading Based on CGE Modelling
As a key field for realizing low-carbon development of the society, the effective control of carbon emissions in the electric power industry is of great significance for coping with global climate change. In order to deeply explore the impact of carbon emission rights trading on the power industry, optimize the energy structure and achieve sustainable development. This paper first analyses the basic concepts and mechanisms of carbon emissions trading, and then establishes the basic framework and equation system of the CGE model, including the modules of production, income and expenditure, market, carbon emissions trading and dynamic mechanism. Through arithmetic analyses, this paper evaluates the responses of the macroeconomy and the energy industry under different carbon emission reduction scenarios. The results show that stricter carbon emission reduction targets have a more significant impact on the economy and energy industry. It provides systematic theoretical support for the low-carbon development strategy of the power industry, and has important reference value for the formulation of related policies.
