A Study on an Optimal Control Strategy of Electric Hydrogen Production Load Considering New Energy Consumption and Hydrogen Demand

With the advancement of the global energy transition, electric hydrogen production technology, which converts excess electricity into hydrogen, has become an effective means to address the instability of renewable energy output. This paper establishes a mathematical model that comprehensively considers renewable energy consumption and hydrogen demand, configures electric hydrogen storage capacity, and develops an optimization strategy for electric hydrogen response to new energy fluctuations, to promote the development of the hydrogen energy industry, and to realize the green transition and sustainable development of the energy system.

Abstract

With the advancement of the global energy transition, electric hydrogen production technology, which converts excess electricity into hydrogen, has become an effective means to address the instability of renewable energy output. This paper establishes a mathematical model that comprehensively considers renewable energy consumption and hydrogen demand, configures electric hydrogen storage capacity, and develops an optimization strategy for electric hydrogen response to new energy fluctuations, to promote the development of the hydrogen energy industry, and to realize the green transition and sustainable development of the energy system.
