Modeling and Analysis Strategy of Lithium-ion Battery Capacity Degradation
Efficient battery degradation models are crucial for accurately identifying the state of health of batteries. Addressing at the high analysis cost and insufficient generalization ability of experimental testing lithium-ion battery degradation modelling strategy, a simulation model for lithium-ion battery capacity degradation is proposed. Firstly, the performance degradation process of lithium-ion battery is described based on the reaction dynamics theory, and the key influencing sources of battery capacity degradation are discriminated. After that, a mathematical description of lithium-ion battery capacity degradation process is established to differentiate the characterization of battery degradation process under various influencing factors. Finally, simulation verification is carried out to examine the effectiveness of the proposed lithium-ion battery degradation model. Which indicates that the proposed model can track the degradation trend of lithium-ion battery under different influencing factors dynamically.
