Reliability assessment method for distribution system with distributed generations in anti-islanding operation mode
Large-scale distributed generation (DG) based on photovoltaic power is increasingly integrated into the distribution system, posing a significant threat to its power supply reliability due to its fluctuating output power influenced by weather conditions. Evaluating the reliability of the distribution system following the grid connection of DGs is crucial for guiding the planning of the distribution system and formulating protection strategies. This paper proposes a hybrid analysis method to assist in assessing the reliability of the distribution system under the anti-islanding operation mode of DGs. The reliability model of DGs is established using historical data and stochastic scenario generation techniques, considering the failures of system components. The reliability indicators of load points in the distribution system change based on the assessment of system adequacy, and the limitation of DG output power in the anti-islanding operation mode necessitates the removal of a fixed capacity of loads from the system. A detailed case study is presented in the end.
