A Low Loss Modulation Strategy at Light Load for Three Phase DAB-LLC DC Converter
The soft switching range of the converter is limited and the reactive current is large for traditional SPS modulation strategy at light load. This paper presents the operation, analysis, and experimental results of a three phase DAB-LLC DC converter with a low loss strategy. The proposed modulation strategy adopts a two-phase operation mode by introducing degrees of freedom. The soft switching range of the converter is extended, the backflow power is reduced, and the efficiency of the converter is improved. Finally, the performance of the proposed proposed modulation strategy is verified through simulation and experiments of the hardware in the loop (HIL) technology.
