Condition Assessment of Secondary Equipment in Converter Stations Based on Comprehensive Parameter Modeling

The secondary equipment of converter stations is mainly categorized into protection, monitoring, and control, and its condition directly affects the safety and reliability of the station. In a rapidly changing power environment, condition assessment models need to have the capability for dynamic adjustment. However, most current studies focus on a single type of data (either Boolean or numeric), resulting in a lack of comprehensiveness in the assessment objects, which can lead to deviations in the results of equipment condition assessments. This paper proposes a secondary equipment condition assessment model based on comprehensive parameters. The secondary equipment status data of the converter station is divided into historical operation, real-time operation, and operations and maintenance management. By employing a membership function and matrix analysis model, vector information that can contribute to the equipment condition assessment is obtained from these three dimensions. Based on the proposed scoring adjustment method, the vector information is refined to obtain the final condition assessment score. Therefore, the final score accurately reflects the comprehensive evaluation of the equipment, assisting in improving the level of operations and maintenance management.
