Low-Carbon Economic Dispatch for Distributed Energy System Using Quasi-Potential Game

In this study, an innovative distributed energy system (DES) is proposed, which integrates carbon capture power plants (CCPPs), supercritical carbon dioxide (SCO<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf>) power plant, organic rankine cycle (ORC) technology and low-carbon demand response (LCDR). Carbon capture technology effectively captures and stores carbon dioxide (CO<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf>), SCO<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf> power plant improves energy utilization efficiency, and ORC further improves the overall efficiency of the system by using waste heat. LCDR can promote the efficient utilization of renewable energy and the load balance of the DES by dynamically adjusting the power consumption pattern of users. Through this complementary optimization strategy, the system can reduce the carbon footprint, improve the flexibility and reliability of energy utilization, and promote the realization of sustainable development goals. Finally, testing was conducted on the modified IEEE39 node, effectively verifying the effectiveness of our system.

Abstract

In this study, an innovative distributed energy system (DES) is proposed, which integrates carbon capture power plants (CCPPs), supercritical carbon dioxide (SCO<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf>) power plant, organic rankine cycle (ORC) technology and low-carbon demand response (LCDR). Carbon capture technology effectively captures and stores carbon dioxide (CO<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf>), SCO<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf> power plant improves energy utilization efficiency, and ORC further improves the overall efficiency of the system by using waste heat. LCDR can promote the efficient utilization of renewable energy and the load balance of the DES by dynamically adjusting the power consumption pattern of users. Through this complementary optimization strategy, the system can reduce the carbon footprint, improve the flexibility and reliability of energy utilization, and promote the realization of sustainable development goals. Finally, testing was conducted on the modified IEEE39 node, effectively verifying the effectiveness of our system.
