Analysis of the Internal Electric Field of the Transformer Under Overvoltage Conditions
Reasonable insulation structure of transformer can ensure its safe and stable operation. However, the internal structure of transformer is complicated, and its electric field distribution is often difficult to calculate. This paper presents a model based on finite element analysis which can accurately calculate the electric field distribution inside the transformer. The model provides a theoretical basis for ensuring the safety of transformer operation under the condition of overvoltage. In addition, a two-dimensional model of the main insulation structure of 110kV transformer is established. The electric field distribution can be analyzed by the above model, which provides theoretical support for designing transformer insulation under overvoltage condition.
