Thermal Distribution Simulation and Temperature Rise Prediction of Low-Voltage Comprehensive Distribution Box
Low-voltage comprehensive distribution boxes are widely used in distribution networks, and their temperature rise performance of being long-term power on directly affects the safety and reliability of power supply. A finite element model of a low-voltage comprehensive distribution box was established to simulate and analyze its temperature rise distribution and voltage distribution, as well as the variation law of temperature rise with structural material parameters in the paper. The weak points and critical parameters of temperature rise exceeding the standard of the distribution box are analyzed. A temperature rise prediction method for low-voltage distribution boxes is proposed, temperature rise prediction of wiring terminals is conducted under different measured times. The initial 1.5 times rated current method for incresing temperature rise rapidly and temperature rise prediction method are combined to shorten the required measured time further, and the predicted temperature rise obtained from 1-hour measured data is used to conduct temperature rise performance pre evaluation.
