Impact Analysis of False Data Injection Attacks in Power System Operations
This paper performs the impact analysis of a random Load Redistribution False Data Injection (LR-FDI) attacks on Security Constrained Economic Dispatch (SCED) operations of power system. A successful LR-FDI attack on SCED in power system may cause disruptions in logic parameters of controllers setting, destabilizing the power market by generation imbalance, and, false state estimation. DC-OPF based SCED problem under the LR-FDI attack scenario is formulated to analyze the feasibility and consequences. Problem formulated is tested on IEEE 24-RTS system, and solved on GAMS optimization platform using CONOPT solver.
