Dynamics of the DC Voltage of Fuel-Cell-Powered System Considering the Response Time of Energy Storage Devices
To enhance the active support capability of fuel-cell-powered systems, it is necessary to equip them with appropriate energy storage devices in engineering applications. The dynamics of energy storage devices can significantly influence the response of the system, and how to effectively analyze and assess this impact has become a key issue. In this paper, a full-order model of the fuel-cell-powered system and a simplified model that accounts for dynamic response time are established. By incorporating the actual dynamic response functions of each subsystem into the model, the impact of dynamic response time on the fluctuations of the dc bus voltage is analyzed. Simulation results are presented to validate the accuracy and effectiveness of the simplified model and theoretical analysis. This study aims to provide simplified computational methods for the selection and configuration of energy storage devices in practical engineering applications.
