Connotation and Functional Analysis of Integrated Energy Generation and Consumption Unit IECU
In order to cope with the challenges of global climate change and accelerate the low-carbon transformation of the energy and power system, Academician Zhou Xiaoxin put forward the idea of a multi-energy complementary integrated energy system development model, i.e., the establishment of an integrated energy production unit (IEPU) and an integrated energy consumption unit (IECU) for the source energy production bases and the end-consumption areas, respectively. This paper focuses on the conceptual connotation and functional model of IECU. First, the conceptual development of IECU is clarified based on the existing literature. Then, the core connotation and composition structure of IECU are elaborated in detail. Finally, based on the functional analysis method in TRIZ theory, the components of IECU are derived, and the interactions of the components within the IECU unit are analyzed to summarize the functions of IECU. The research in this paper expects to provide a reference meaning for the construction and development of IECU.
