Position Optimization of Non-contact Current Measurement Array for Overhead Transmission Lines
Given the existing challenges in the measurement of overhead transmission lines, achieving flexible collection and visualization of power information within the energy internet is essential. In this context, non-contact measurement of power data emerges as a critical solution to enhance efficiency and reliability in power monitoring systems. This paper proposes an effective approach for the non-contact current measurement using magnetic sensor array. The array is installed on the towers to collect the spatial magnetic field generated by the three-phase conductors and deduce the electrical information of the overhead conductors. In practical installation, the sensor array should be installed within the safe working area. Moreover, the installation location needs to be optimized to ensure the normal operation of the sensors and reduce measurement errors. This paper optimizes the installation location using a PSO algorithm. Case studies demonstrate that the sensor array at this optimized location improves the accuracy and stability of the inversion process significantly.
