Transient Overvoltage Stability Mechanism of AC-DC Sending-End System with Renewable Energy
This paper investigates the mechanisms underlying transient overvoltage in wind power transmission through VSC-HVDC (Voltage Source Converter based High Voltage Direct Current Transmission) islanding systems. Initially, it presents an overview of the VSC-HVDC system and its applications in wind power transmission. Subsequently, it analyzes the formation mechanisms and influencing factors of transient overvoltage. Finally, practical simulation cases are utilized to validate the theoretical findings.
