Optimal Scheduling of Thermal Power Plants Considering Demand Response and Carbon Capture
In order to cope with the impact of carbon dioxide on the environment, this paper proposes an optimal scheduling model of thermal power plants considering demand response and carbon capture technology. Firstly, a demand response model is established to optimize the load management of the power system through electrothermally stimulated demand response. The electric heating load curve optimized by the electric and thermal excitation demand response coordination scheduling model is obtained. The principle of carbon capture is briefly described and the mathematical model of carbon capture thermal power plants is constructed. Next, taking the minimum operating cost of thermal power plants as the objective function, and considering the power balance, thermal power unit operation constraints, carbon capture equipment constraints and heat storage equipment constraints, the optimal scheduling model of thermal power plants with demand response and carbon capture is constructed to seek the optimal relationship between carbon emissions and electric heating load, so as to ensure the low-carbon economic operation of thermal power plants. Finally, the simulation results show that the model considering demand response and carbon capture has obvious advantages in reducing operating costs and reducing carbon emissions.
