Collaborative Demand Response of Distribution Networks and Microgrids Based on Edge Agents
Under the dual carbon goals, the construction of a new power system is progressing steadily, and the large-scale integration of renewable energy has brought significant challenges to the operation of the power system. Based on the coupling between distribution networks and microgrids in terms of physical connection and information interaction, a coordinated demand response model between the two is gradually taking shape. Meanwhile, the introduction of the concept of edge IoT provides solutions for power system dispatching. This paper designs a distribution-microgrid coordinated interaction framework based on edge agents, where the distribution network is divided into multiple sub-regions, each with an edge agent acting as a distributed control center. These sub-regions communicate with the centralized control center to achieve coordinated demand response based on edge agents. Finally, case studies are presented to verify the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.
