Optimal Power Control Strategy for Distribution Networks Considering Active Support of Distributed Photovoltaic Power Sources
The increasing scale of distributed photovoltaic grid-connectedness will inevitably bring a lot of pressure on the traditional distribution network, and will also have a direct impact on the topology and operation mode of the distribution network. Therefore, the study of reactive power optimization for this has been urgently needed. This paper analyzes the impact on network current distribution, node voltage phasors, and network losses. In order to solve the voltage quality problem, a mathematical model for reactive power optimization with the objective of minimizing active network loss and voltage deviation is developed. In order to improve the solving ability of the model, an improved particle swarm optimization algorithm is used. The arithmetic example is verified in the IEEE-33 node distribution system, and the results show the correctness of the model and the effectiveness of the strategy.
