Integrated Energy Production Unit Planning and Dispatching Method Considering Flexibility
The integrated energy production unit (IEPU) can be used as an important means to improve energy utilization and promote energy and power systems transition. However, there are few studies on the operation characteristics of IEPU and its interaction with the power grid. How to promote the economic and safe operation of the power grid and improve its flexibility through IEPU remains to be studied. This paper tries to explore the flexible adjustment capabilities of the IEPU, and proposes a methodology for IEPU capacity configuration and operational optimization. Firstly, a collaborative operation model of the IEPU and power grid is developed, taking into account their interactive characteristics. Secondly, an IEPU capacity configuration model considering medium- and long-term flexible adjustment capability is proposed. Finally, upon the established capacity configuration of the IEPU, an IEPU optimal operation method considering short term flexible adjustment capability is proposed. The proposed methods are verified on IEEE 39-bus system considering IEPU. The results show that by properly configuring the IEPU, it is feasible to enhance the system’s flexibility while ensuring economic and stable operation. This research provides a theoretical basis for the coordinated optimization operation of IEPU and power system in scenarios of an increasing proportion of renewable energy.
