Risk Assessment of Successive Commutation Failure in Multi-infeed LCC-HVDC Transmission Systems
The paper focuses on the subsequent commutation failure risk assessment in LCC-HVDC. Firstly, the critical commutation voltage (CCV) is selected as the index of commutation failure risk, then an improved calculation method of CCV is analyzed to improve its rationality and accuracy. Secondly, the probability of subsequent commutation failure risk is calculated based on the upper and lower thresholds of CCV. Finally, the simulation results verifies the correctness of the assessment method.
