Study on Self-Discipline Constraints for Industrial Load in Peak Shaving and Frequency Regulation Strategies for Power Grids
Industrial loads are vital in power systems, but their interaction with the grid is complex. This paper introduces self-discipline constraints at multiple time scales and optimizes peak load and frequency regulation using controllable industrial loads and energy storage. A bilevel optimization model is designed to address the multi-time scale optimization problem of peak load and frequency regulation. Simulations prove the method's effectiveness and cost efficiency.
