Converter Energy Based Droop ADRC Control with Enhanced Dynamic Performance and Stability
The cascaded multi-converter system that constitutes a power electronic transformer has input, intermediate and output stages, and the converters at all levels need to switch operating modes frequently under different operating conditions, which determines that a single, fixed PI control strategy and parameters cannot realize global optimization control under all operating conditions. A converter energy-based droop control strategy for multiple converters is proposed, which provides better steady state and dynamic performance and enhances the stability of interconnected converters compared with the traditional droop control method. Modeling simulations are carried out in the PLECS simulation platform to verify the feasibility and superiority of the control strategy.
