A Method for Evaluating the Benefits of Independent Energy Storage Participation in the Day Ahead Market Based on Ideal Scheduling
This paper introduces a method to evaluate independent energy storage (IES) benefits in the day-ahead market for renewable energy integration in China. By comparing scenarios with and without IES, the approach, validated on the IEEE 30-bus system, shows enhanced grid operation, cost savings, and increased renewable energy usage, offering insights for market design and energy storage.
