Transmission and Distribution Coordinated Blocking Scheduling Strategy with Dynamic Integration of Distribution Network Flexibility Resources

Due to the excessive branch power exceeding the transmission line capacity limit, transmission bottlenecks may occur in certain periods for transmission networks. With the large-scale integration of demand-side resources and distributed energy into distribution networks, it has become possible to solve transmission bottleneck issues through coordinated dispatch of controllable resources in both transmission and distribution networks. Addressing the challenge of scattered demand-side response resources and the difficulty in negotiating compensation prices, this paper proposes a dual-layer optimization blocking dispatch strategy based on the dynamic integration of flexible distribution network resources. Under this strategy, the transmission network layer aims to minimize blocking costs, obtaining generator adjustment plans and node prices through optimization. The active distribution network layer then dynamically integrates the flexibility of distribution network resources based on load characteristics and node prices, collaboratively resolving bottlenecking issues. The effectiveness of the strategy proposed in this paper has been verified by modifying the IEEE-39 test system.
