Calculation and Evaluation Method of Adjustable Capacity of Virtual Power Plant
As a special logical entity of power plants participating in the power market and power grid operation, virtual power plants have different adjustable performance from conventional power units. Since virtual power plants contain a large amount of renewable energy, their output volatility leads to uncertainty in the output of virtual power plants, which makes it difficult for virtual power plants to reach the level of traditional power plants in terms of execution of dispatch instructions. Therefore, based on the characteristics of virtual power plants, this paper constructs a series of indicators to evaluate the adjustable performance of virtual power plants to measure the regulation effect. Combined with the functions of virtual power plants themselves, adjustable performance indicators and evaluation methods are constructed from three aspects: reliability, dispatch-ability and internal resources. Finally, the AHP-entropy weight method combined evaluation method is used through examples to obtain the overall adjustable capacity calculation results through calculation, which is helpful for the analysis and evaluation of the adjustable capacity of virtual power plants.
