Resource Allocation Method for Grid-Side Hybrid Energy Storage Considering Bidding and Operation Strategies
In the hybrid electricity trading mode where the market mode coexists with the planned mode, the different allocation of resources for various types of energy storage power stations (ESSs) such as pumped storage station (PSSs), electrochemical storage station (ECS), and hydrogen storage station (HSS), can lead to different bidding and operation strategies. The power grid and various ESSs achieve bidding and operational strategy interaction in a hybrid trading mode through resource allocation. A series of models and the resource allocation method are proposed to solve the strategic interaction problem. Firstly, based on the market clearing model, a electricity and capacity market model involving multiple ESSs is constructed. Based on the goal of maximizing the revenue of each ESS, the formation of ESSs market trading strategies is described. Secondly, by combining the two-part electricity pricing system, a power grid scheduling model is constructed. This model can effectively describe the trading process of different trading modes and the operational characteristics of different ESSs. Thirdly, according to the Stackelberg game model and strong duality theory, an interactive model of bidding and operation strategies between the power grid and various ESSs is proposed, which combines the market transaction model with the unified purchase and sale process. Finally, based on the ESS construction and operation data in eastern China, the effectiveness of the model and method is verified, and the bidding and operation strategies interaction between the power grid and various ESSs is demonstrated. The results indicate that under the dominance of the power grid, by utilizing the resource allocation method, the optimized strategies for resource allocation and operation can be derived, which can reduce the operating costs of the power grid with the conditions of high renewable energy consumption rate.
