Exploration of the Joint Operation Model of Distributed Power Sources and thermal Storage Electric Heating in Rural Areas Transitioning from Coal to Electricity
In response to the need for clean heating during the heating season in the "Three North" regions of China, a joint operation model of distributed power sources and thermal storage electric heating tailored for rural areas is proposed. First, the application status of existing thermal storage electric boilers in conjunction with photovoltaics and wind turbines is analyzed, alongside the increasing attention and support from governments for independent residential electric heating as the scale of clean energy generation from photovoltaics and wind power continues to grow internationally. Second, the trend of changes in rural power grid loads following the implementation of the "coal-to-electricity" initiative is examined. Third, a heating model is constructed that aims for local consumption of distributed power sources, constrained by the comprehensive operation of the electric heating system. Finally, through practical case studies, the impact of the distributed power source and thermal storage electric heating model on local consumption of distributed power sources and the load rate of grid equipment is analyzed. Simulations are conducted to assess the investment in independent residential distributed power sources and thermal storage electric heating, further demonstrating the effectiveness and practicality of the proposed method.
