Optimal scheduling of Wind-Solar-Hydrogen-Storage Integrated Energy System Considering Internal Mechanism of PEM Electrolyzer
At present, the volatility and intermittency of renewable energy sources can cause significant fluctuations in the electrolysis current of electrolyzers. Additionally, fluoride release can degrade the membrane, thereby shortening the electrolyzer's service life. To address these challenges, an integrated energy optimization scheduling method for wind-solar-hydrogen-storage systems is proposed. The contents are as follows: 1) An integrated energy optimization system for wind-solar-hydrogen-storage has been proposed to achieve coordinated operation among multiple energy sources; 2) The internal characteristics of PEM electrolyzer are fully explored, and the thermodynamic model and electrochemical model of the electrolyzer are established, so as to improve the hydrogen production efficiency and renewable energy consumption capacity; 3) The degradation cost model of electrolyzer including current fluctuation cost and membrane degradation cost was constructed to further improve the stability of hydrogen production system. Through comparative study, average mass of hydrogen production of the proposed method is 29.81kg, which is higher than the other two scenarios. At the same time, the absorption capacity of new energy is improved, which verifies the effectiveness of the proposed method in electrolysis efficiency and economic benefits.
