Bi-level Optimization of Mobile Energy Storage System Allocation and Scheduling for Grid Stability and Peak Load Reduction
This research examines Mobile Energy Storage Systems (MESS) for improving grid stability and peak shaving in electrical networks. It employs a bi-level optimization approach based on different optimization methods to determine optimal MESS location and operation strategies. Tested across various monthly/seasonal scenarios, this approach is applied to the IEEE 33 bus and 141 bus test systems, considering real data for the consumption behavior of the nodes.
