An Optimization-Based Development Path Planning Approach Considering Coal Power and New Energy Transformation
We consider the problem of determining transforming quantities of coal power and new energy at different developing stages in China. We predict regulation demands of power systems, contributions of transforming technologies to those demands, and transforming costs. Subsequently, we establish the optimization model of path planning and solve it to obtain quantities of different transforming technologies. Marginal costs at different developing stages are calculated. Simulations demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed optimization-based path planning approach.
