Cooperative Control for Multi-machine Power Systems under External Data Injection

This paper is concerned with the adaptive output feedback cooperative control for multi-machine power systems under external data arbitrary injection (EDAI). To circumvent this negative impact of EDAI, an observer is constructed based on the output information of each machine to obtain state information required for control design under EDAI, and two adaptive update laws relying on external data signals are designed based on backstepping technique. Moreover, the Nussbaum function is introduced to deal with the difficulty of unknown time-varying gain caused by EDAI. The results show that the proposed adaptive backstepping output feedback cooperative controller can effectively handle the adverse effects of EDAI in multi-machine power systems. Finally, simulation is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
