Low-Carbon Optimization Operation Method of Flexible Distribution Network Based on Carbon Emission Flow

Clarifying responsibility for carbon emissions is a crucial step in establishing a low-carbon electricity system. Current carbon emission analysis techniques can deduce the distribution of carbon emissions within the power system. However, because of the varying operational states of the soft open point integrated with an energy storage system (ESOP) and the intricacy of the model, few studies incorporate this aspect into the calculation of carbon emission flow in the power grid. To tackle this challenge, this paper presents a low-carbon optimized operation method for flexible distribution networks equipped with ESOP. A case study using the enhanced IEEE 33-bus system is conducted to illustrate the distribution of carbon emission flow and the low-carbon optimization operation method for a flexible distribution network, taking into account ESOP.
