Research on Virtual Inertia Frequency Regulation Control Strategy for New Energy Grid Based on Adaptive SOC
Aiming at the shortcomings of the control ability of the energy storage battery (ESB) when it participates in the primary frequency regulation (PFR) of thermal power generating sets, an adaptive integrated control method is proposed to optimize the output of the ESB based on the PFR characteristics and the state of charge (SOC) of the ESB . The virtual inertia control (VIC) is improved to obtain the virtual negative inertia control by analyzing the grid FR characteristics. In the early stage of FR, the power output of storage battery is mainly controlled by sag control and supplemented by inertia control; in the frequency recovery period, inertia control is mainly controlled by droop control and supplemented by inertia control. In order to optimize the storage battery power output, the adaptive output coefficient adjustment strategy is set based on the logistic function to maintain a good SOC. Taking a single-area power grid as an example, a MATLAB/Simulink simulation model is constructed, and the proposed adaptive integrated control method is simulated and verified, which proves that the control strategy can quickly reduce the frequency deviation, so that the power system (PWS) rapidly The control strategy is proved to be able to quickly and effectively reduce the frequency deviation, so that the PWS can quickly recover to the steady-state value of PFR frequency.
