Day-Ahead Scheduling for Microgrid Considering the V2G Mode of Electric Vehicles

In recent years, the number of electric vehicles (EVs) has been steadily increasing. Integrating EVs into the power system through microgrids is becoming a trend. However, the charging and discharging behaviors of EVs exhibit significant randomness. The vehicle-to-grid (V2G) mode of EVs can fully utilize the energy storage capabilities of their batteries, enhancing stability of power system and reducing the operating costs of microgrids. This paper establishes a day-ahead scheduling model for microgrids with V2G-enabled EVs and uses the Shapley value method zto allocate the profits generated from EVs’ participation in the scheduling. Simulation result shows that EVs participating in microgrid dispatch under the V2G mode can significantly reduce operating costs while increasing their own profits.
